European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +201 at 25651.
Dow's trend is seeing a big tick up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher with strong gains. Nikkei +379,
ShanghaiC +33, Hangseng +405. STI closed +21 at 3212. Volume was 1.2b
shares. Gainers were 243 to 173 losers.
Trend of STI is attempting to break up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.3, YZJ +3, KrisEnergy +0.6, UMS +7, ISRCapital
-0.1, AEM +4, Thomson +0.1, HiP +3, Genting +1, Spackman +0.3.
STI opened +19 and quickly moved to +29 and stabilised at this level for
the rest of the morning. After lunch it edged up a little more to hit day
high at 3228, +37 before slipping back a little through the afternoon
session to close off the day high at 3212.
Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was up.
