European bourses and Dow closed up on Friday. Dow was +110 at 26026.
Trend of Dow is inching back up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +225, ShanghaiC +34, Hangseng +140.
STI closed +29 at 3250. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 217 to 208
losers.
Trend of STI is making a big U turn to break up again.
Top volumes were SweeHong -0.1, Spackman +0.2, Frasers L&I +3, ThaiBev -2,
Genting -1, RexIntl -0.4, ThomsonMed -0.1, YZJ -1, AEM +3, SingTel
unchanged.
STI opened slightly up but fell to negative and was at day low at 3216 by
10am. After that it turned back up and was at morning lunch when closed
for lunch. After lunch it continued to move up a bit and then settled for
the rest of the afternoon hovering about +25 points. It closed at +29 at
3250, 2 points short of day high.
Blue chips were mostly up while the general market was mixed with about
equal gainers and losers.
