European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -142 at 25746.
The short uptrend of Dow is weakening. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +42, ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng -249. STI
closed +10 at 3218. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 170 to 165 losers.
Trend of STI is moving sideways.
Top volumes were QTVascular unchanged, Genting +3, RexIntl +0.1, KepInfraTr
-3, ThomsonMed unchanged, CapitaComTr +4, ThaiBev +0.5, Netlink +0.5,
SingTel -2, Capitaland +4.
STI opened marginally up and stayed that way for the whole morning. It
closed for lunch +3 points. After lunch it moved up marginally but stayed
within +5 level for the rest of the afternoon. It finally closed at day
high at +10 at 3218.
Blue chips were firmer. The general market was mixed.
European bourses are still mixed at this moment while Dow's future is down.
PS. Some of you may have heard of DBS restructuring its stock trading
operation. I would be moving to Lim & Tan when everything is confirmed. I
will transfer all the clients that would want to join me to Lim & Tan and
all their shares and whatever would also be transferred over. The transfer
process would be as smooth and transparent, and there will be minimal
disruption to trading. Will keep you people inform of further development.
