European bourses closed mixed last night.  Dow was +167 at 26385.  Trend of

Dow is up.  European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei +83, ShanghaiC +30, Hangseng -50.  STI

closed +6 at 3323.  Volume was 950m shares.  Gainers were 221 to 137

losers.

Trend of STI is up.

Top volumes were NicoSteel +0.1, Genting +1.5, TEE +0.2, Spackman +0.2,

CapitaComTr -3, RexIntl +0.1, AlliedTech +0.2, Yongnam unchanged, YZJ +0.2,

BlackGold +0.2.

STI opened marginally up and moved up a bit more reach a day high by the

first hour of trading at 3333. It then slipped back a bit but still closing

up for lunch. After lunch it moved up a little again only to slide back and

stayed that way for the rest of the afternoon, closing at +6 at 3323.

Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was also firmer.

European bourses are mixed and Dow's future is up at this moment.
