Europe and Dow were sharply up last night. Dow closed +229 at 16621. Trend of Dow is resuming its uptrend. Dow's future is now -50. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -59, ShanghaiC -23, Hangseng -49. STI closed +13 at 2674. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 225 to 197 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were WE unchanged, Noble +0.5, Spackman -0.4, Ezra +0.1, Alliance Mineral +1.9, GlobalLogistic +1.5, InnoPac unchanged, MMPResources +0.1, Genting -3.
STI opened up and stayed up for the whole session but closed near its day low. Blue chips were mostly firmer. The general market too were slightly firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly down at the moment.
