Europe were down last night. Dow was down but recovered to close +53 at 16485. Dow is still holding on to a slight uptrend. Dow's future at this moment is -50.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +224, ShanghaiC -187, Hangseng -304. STI closed -9 at 2611. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 183 to 214 losers.
Tredn of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were Spackman -0.7, WE unchanged, Yuuzoo +0.3, QTVascular -0.6, Noble -0.5, GoldenAgri -1, GlobalLogistic +1, LuzhouBioChem unchanged, GlobalTech +0.3, Genting unchanged.
STI opened up but started to slip to negative after lunch. It then fell further and closed near day low with some short covering. Banks were sold down while blue chips were mixed. The general market was a bit weaker.
European bourses are still positive at the moment but Dow's future still alightly down.
