Europe closed mixed last night while Dow closed +80 at 16417. Trend of Dow is slightly on a uptrend. Dow's future at the moment is -3. European bourses are slightly down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -225, ShanghaiC -17, Hangseng +105. STI closed +58 at 2617. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 278 to 137 losers.
Trend of STI is firming up slightly.
Top volumes were Noble +1.5, SingTel +22, GlobalLogistic +5, Stratech +0.2, RexIntl -0.2, GoldenAgri +1, Genting +0.2.5, CapitalMallTrust +7, HPHTrust unchanged, ChinaSports +0.1.
STI opened marginally up but gained strength through the day to close near day high. Blue chips were nearly all green. The general market was firmer with more gainers than losers.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly negative at this moment.
