Europe closed mostly slightly down. Dow managed to close +2 at 17790. Trend of Dow is still a bit up but weakening. Dow's future is now -19. European bourses opened slightly but turning flat now.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -393, ShanghaiC +12, Hangseng +98. STI closed +6 at 2797. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 214 to 180 losers.
Trend of STI still pointing up slighlty.
Top volumes were Cedar +0.1, ThaiBev +2.5, Noble +1.5, KLW unchanged, Goldenagri +1, Ezra unchanged, SinoGrandness +6.5, ManOriental +1, HPHTrust -0.5, Genting unchanged.
STI opened flat and subsequently moved up to stay positive for the rest of the session but closed off its day high. Blue chips closed mixed but the general market was slightly firmer.
European bourses are starting to turn positive at this moment. Dow's future is still down slightly.
