Europe and Dow had another fall last night. Dow closed -281 at 17140. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future is now +205. European bourses opened sharply up.
Asian bourses were mostly up slightly but Hangseng -55. Nikkei +14, ShanghaiC +17. STI closed +31 at 2761. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 245 to 152 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to reverse back up.
Top volumes were Noble -3.5 ex rights, Ezra +0.1, SingTel +10, AllianceMineral -0.2, Spackman +0.7, MDR unchanged, Addvalue +0.3, Ausgroup +0.2, QTVascular +0.6, Genting unchanged.
STI opened down but started to turn positive my mid morning. It continued to make gains through the rest of the session to close near day high. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was also firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are all firmly up at this moment marking the way for a good closing tonight.
