Europe closed mixed last night while Dow ended +67 at 18005. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future is now -56. European bourses are down on opening.
Asian bourses were mostly down on closing. Nikkei -183, ShanghaiC -9, Hangseng -30. STI closed -13 at 2849. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 175 to 224 losers.
Trend of STI is still up but seeing the first fall after 5 days of gains.
Top volumes were AusGroup +0.6, Noble unchanged, Addvalue uchanged, Yuuzoo +0.4, Vallianz -0.1, GlobalLogistic +3.5, Loyz -0.2, RexIntl -0.4, Ntegrator unchanged, Vard -0.2.
STI opened and stayed up till noon and subsequently slipped to negative. It ocntinued to drift down in the afternoon with Europe opening down. STI closed at day low. Blue chips were mostly weaker after a good showing in the morning. The general market was slightly weaker with more losers than gainers.
Europe and Dow's future are now still in the red.
