Europe and Dow were sharply up last night. Dow closed +130 at 17805. Short term trend of Dow is starting to turn up. Dow's future at the moment is +57. European bourses opened flat but turning positive now.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +204, ShanghaiC -10, Hangseng +158. STI closed -7 at 2794. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 168 to 200 losers.
Short term trend of STI is looking up.
Top volumes were Fraser L&I Trust IPO closing at 91c. Ezra -0.1, Noble +1, LoyzEnergy -0.4, HPHTrust -1.5, Annica unchanged, AusGroup -0.2, ISR +1.1, Genting -0.5, GoldenAgri -1.
STI opened flat and stayed flat through the session turning slightly positive in a couple of moments. The sharp rise in Europe and Dow did not see any follow through in the market here. Blue chips were mixed while the general market was slightly weaker.
Europe and Dow's future at the moment were slightly positive.
