European bourses were down last night but Dow closed +174. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +12, Hangseng +343. STI closed +14 at 3177. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 261 to 181 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were ChinaRealEstate unchanged, Medtecs -0.1, ClearBridge +0.6, RexIntl +0.5, Trendlines +1.3, ThaiBev +1.5, AsiaPhos +0.3, SingTel +1, Genting +1, Jiutian -0.1.
STI opened marginally up and continued to move up reaching day high at 3196 by mid morning. It then pulled back to close for lunch at 3186. After lunch it slipped down all the way to end the session near day low at 3177.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
