Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +92, ShanghaiC -15, Hangseng -283. STI closed -50 at 2868. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 139 to 336 losers.

Top volumes were Ezra -0.2, Vallianz +0.1, Noble -0.4, WE unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, Annica unchanged, KLW -0.2, SingTel -11, Ezion -1.5.

STI opened down spooked by DBS's losses in Swiber. Other banks also got dragged down as well. Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was also down.

European bourses are still up at this moment but Dow's future is slightly down.

Trend of STI is flattening.
