Europe closed mixed last night while
Dow -25 at 16827. Dow's long term trend is breaking down. Dow's future
is now +37. Europe opened positive.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +164,
ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng closed. STI closed -13 at 3242. Volume
was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 184 to 233 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Xpress +0.1, Vibrant
+1.1, ICP unchanged, Polaris -0.2, SwingMedia +0.2, Goldenagri -1, GSH
unchanged, Adventus unchanged, Memstar +0.1, WCorp -0.3.
Market opened flat briefly and slipped
down to stay negative the whole day. It closed slightly off its low of
-15. Blue chips were mostly in the red. Penny and speculatives fared
slightly better.
Europe and Dow are looking steady at
the moment.
