Europe and Dow were down last night.
Dow -118 at 16907. Dow's trend is up but looking toppish. Dow's
future is now -9. Europe opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-12, ShanghaiC -25, Hangseng -365. STI closed -8 at 3276. Volume
was 2.8b shares. Gainers were 192 to 256 losers.
Short term trend of STI is slipping
down.
Top volumes were SIIC -1.7, Sincap +0.6,
Artivision +0.7, Oceanus unchanged, Charisma unchanged, Vibrant unchanged,
Ellipsiz +0.3, CompactMetal -0.1, APAC unchanged, MirachEnergy +0.5.
Market opened flat but slipped into
negative only to closed off its day low. Blue chips were slightly
weaker. Penny and speculatives were also weaker.
Europe and Dow are looking flat at the
moment.
