+123 at 17100. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is now -37. Europe
opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-155, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng -88. STI closed +3 at 3314. Volume was
1.6b shares. Gainers were 217 t0 214 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Jaya +0.4, SIIC +0.3,
OLS -0.1, Chinafibretech +0.7, APAC +0.1, Artivision +0.2, ChinaGaoxian
+0.2, KLW +0.1, IHC -0.5, ChinaTaisan +0.3.
Market opened marginally up and stayed
there for most part of the day. It closed +4. Volume was below 2b
shares. Blue chips were firmer. Penny and speculatives too were generally
firmer.
Europe and Dow are looking slightly
weaker at the moment.
