Dow and Europe closed up on Friday.
Dow +29 at 16944. Dow's long term trend is up. Dow's future
is now +58. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+133, ShanghaiC +20, Hangseng +113. STI closed -4 at 3289. Volume
was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 215 to 217 losers.
Short term trend of STI is flat.
Top gainers were GoldenAgri -1, Tritech
+2.5, Adventus +0.2, FrasersHTrust IPO 89.5c, IHC unchanged, Jubilee -0.5,
Blumont unchanged, APAC +0.1, TuanSing +2.5, MirachEnergy +0.2.
Market opened flat and stayed positive
for a couple of hours before slipping to slightly negative for the rest
of the day. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives were slightly
firmer. Volume hit another low of 1.3b shares. Maybe many were sleeping
after this morning's world cup final.
Europe and Dow are looking up at the
moment.
