Dow and Europe were down last night.
Dow closed better than Europe down only 13 pts at 17900. Dow's
trend still looking up. europe opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostl up. Nikkei +33, ShanghaiC +39, Hangseng +170. STI closed +12 at 3316. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 222 to 218 losers.
Trend of STI is still down but could turn back up again.

Trend of STI is going down with MACDs cutting downwards.

Two key issues, the rioting in Hongkong and the falling oil prices were the main factors causing the sharp fall especially in Hangseng. Banks saw some profit taking but the worst hits were marine, oil and gas counters. Kep Corp, Semb Corp and Marine were sharply down.
