Daily Summary 10 Dec 14

Dow and Europe were all down last night. Dow was down more than 100 pts but closed -51 at 17801. Dow's trend has started to go down.  Dow's future is now +14.  Europe opened up.

Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -401, ShanghaiC +85 and Hangseng +39.  STI closed +7 at 3326.  Volume was 1.4b shares.  Gainers were 255 to 185 losers.

Trend of STI is relatively flat at this point with a bit upward biased.

Top volumes were IHC unchanged, SIIC +0.3, GoldenAgri +0.5, PacificCentury +1.5, APAC -0.1, Mirach +0.8, Digiland unchanged, SingTel unchanged, Yuuzoo +1, OLS unchanged.

Market opened flat and turned up to stay positive for the rest of the session though closing near day low.  Blue chips were generally firmer.  Penny and speculatives were also seeing slightly more greens.

Europe and Dow are looking like going to reverse from last night's falls.
