Europe were slightly up but Dow closed
-15 at 18038. Trend of Dow is flattening. Dow's future is now
-29. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-279, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng -272. STI closed -4 at 3364. Volume
was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 207 to 200 losers.
Trend of STI is also flattening.
Top volumes were CompactMetal +0.3,
TopGlobal +0.1, Joyas +0.2, IHC unchanged, GoldenAgri +1, SIIC unchanged,
Memstar unchanged, LifeBrandz -0.1, APAC +0.2, Digiland unchanged.
Market opened flat and traded in a very
narrow band staying just 5 points on both sides of the equation. Blue
chips were seeing more greens. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking weak at the
moment.
