Europe and Dow continued to make gains
last night. Dow closed +155 at 17959. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's
future is now +18. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei
+14, ShanghaiC -92, Hangseng -75. STI closed +3 at 3334. Volume
was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 181 to 234 losers.
Trend of STI is still up.
Top volumes were Memstar -0.6, IHC +0.5,
JES +0.2, Jaya +0.1, GoldenAgri -0.5, APAC unchanged, Noble +1.5, Magnus
+0.1, SIIC unchanged, Vallianz -0.3.
Market gapped up on opening but weakened
through the session. It still managed to hold on to a small gain of 3 pts.
Blue chips were mixed. Penny stocks and speculative counters were weaker.
Europe and Dow are still looking steady
at the moment.
