European bourses were mixed last night. Dow closed +103 at 17880.  Dow's trend looks like turning up. Dow's future is now -7.  Europe opened marginally up.

Asian bourses were mixed.  Nikkei +57, ShanghaiC +16, Hangseng -13.  STI closed -19 at 3303.  Volume was 1.3b shares.  Gainers were 144 to 277 losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were AdvanceSCT -0.1, IHC unchanged, MDR unchanged, APAC unchanged, ChinaNewTown +0.2, SIIC -0.1, ThaiBev +2.5, Jaya -0.6, GoldenAgri +1, Genting -1.

Market started trading at 12.30 pm today due to some tech issues at SGX.  STI opened up and stayed up for two hours before falling to negative. It closed at day low.  Blue chips and banks were sold down. Oil and marine continue to fall with falling oil price. Penny and speculatives too were mostly weaker.

Dow and Europe are looking mixed at the moment.
