European bourses closed mixed while
Dow closed +6 at 18030. Trend of Dow is up but flattening. Dow's
future is now +33. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+10, ShanghaiC +85, Hangseng closed. STI closed +3 at 3348. Volume
was 800m shares, a record low. Gainers were 179 to 186 losers.
Trend of STI is up but flattening as
well.
Top volumes were IHC -0.5, LifeBranz
unchanged, Magnus unchanged, OLS unchanged, EnviroHub +0.1, Weiye unchanged,
SIIC +0.1, APAC -0.1, Healthway -0.1, Mirach -0.2.
Market opened slightly down but crept
up to stay barely positive in quiet trading. Volume was a record
low today following the holiday festivities. Blue chips were mixed.
Penny and speculatives were also mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking steady at
the moment.
