European bourses closed slightly down on Friday. Dow was +69 at 17477. Trend of Dow is showing signs of turning up. Dow's future at the moment is -6. European bourses opened slightly up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +101, ShanghaiC +29, Hangseng -176. STI closed -47 at 3067. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 124 to 358 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble -4.5, GreatGroup -0.1, Stratech unchanged, AsianMicro +0.9, IHC unchanged, Ezion -6.5, Genting +0.5, ChineseGlobal unchanged, Ezra -0.6, GoldenAgri -1.
STI opened flat but fell after one hour of trading. It continued to fall and went lower in the last hour to close at day low. Blue chips were mostly red. The overall market was down with loser gainer ratio at 3:1.
Europe opened positive but Dow slightly down at the moment.
