European bourses closed flat and mixed. Dow closed -48 at 17551. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future at the moment is +8. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostly up but ShanghaiC -61. Nikkei +94, Hangseng +108. STI closed +4 at 3195. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 193 to 257 losers.
Trend of STI still down but flattening.
Top volumes were Noble -3.5, ChinaSports unchanged, Genting -7.5, GlobalLogistic +1, Stratech -0.1, IHC unchanged, Yuuzoo +3, ChineseGlobal -0.6, Ezra -0.7, BengKuang +0.8.
STI opened down but gradually recovered and was positive by noon. It stayed slightly yesterday's level for the rest of the session closing +4. Blue chips were mixed. The general market was slightly weaker with more losers than gainers.
Europe has opened firmly up while Dow's future is slightly positive at this moment.
