Europe closed mixed on Friday. Dow was -12 at 16643. Trend of Dow seen a turnaround and trying to form an uptrend. Dow's future is notw -180. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -246, ShanghaiC -25, Hangseng +58. STI closed -31 at 2925. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 180 to 277 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to slip back down.
Top volumes were Ezra +0.8, PacificAndes +0.3, ChinaFishery +2, Noble +2.5, GreatGroup +0.3, NewSilkroutes unchanged, IC unchanged, HPHTrust -3.5, SingTel -6, Genting +0.5..
STI opened up but slipped down to negative after one hour of trading. It then stayed negative for the rest of the session to close at day low. Blue chips were up in early trading but closed mostly in the red. The general market was also weaker.
Europe and Dow's future are now in the negative.
