Europe closed mixed on Friday while Dow was -7 at 20656. Trend of Dow at this point is sideways. Dow's future at the moment is +25. European bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses closed mostly marginally down. Nikkei +133, ShanghaiC -16, Hangseng -5. STI closed -2 at 3175. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 188 to 266 losers.
Trend of STI is rather sideways at this point.
Top volumes were MoyaAsia +0.7, Edition +0.1, Genting +3, Noble -0.2, Spackman +0.1, Artivision +0.2, HLH unchanged, AllianceMineral -2, HealthwayMed -0.1, ThaiBev -1.
STI opened flat and closed flat at +2 but dipped tp -2 on matching. It was slightly to negative in the first hour of trading but recovered to stay flat for the rest of the day. Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was also weaker.
European bourses at this moment are slightly down but Dow is slightly up.
