European bourses closed mixed last night while Dow was -119 closing at 20404. Trend of Dow is slipping down. Dow's future is now +35. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei -2, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng +231. STI closed +12 at 3138. Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 214 to 206 losers.
Trend of STI is still down.
Top volumes were Noble -1.1, Addvalue +0.3, BlackGold -0.2, Chasen -0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged, AllianceMineral -1.5, HealthwayMed unchanged, NetPacificFin +0.2, Genting +0.5, SinCap +0.1.
STI opened slightly down but started to turn up after half an hour of trading. It then stayed up for the rest of the session, gaining a bit more in the second half of the afternoon. It closed near day high with a gain of 12 points.
There were more gainers among the blue chips. The general market was mixed.
European bourses are still mixed at this moment while Dow's future is still up.
