European bourses closed up last night. Dow closed -64 at 24099. Trend of
Dow is heading down. Dow's future at this moment is +3. European bourses
opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly lower. Nikkei -43, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng
-85. STI closed +1 at 3615. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 177 to
233 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Ezion -1.2, HPHTrust +1, SingTel -2, Genting +1, ThaiBev
-0.5, KrisEnergy -0.3, ThomsonMedical -0.3, YZJ +6, GoldenAgri +1,
MapletreeGCC +1.
STI opened up but closed flat for lunch. After lunch it remained flat but
slightly positive for most part of the afternoon session only to close
marginally down.
Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was also weaker.
