European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +143 at 24920.
Trend of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened sharply down.
Asian bourses also fell sharply after US imposed more tariffs on China.
Nikkei -284, Shanghaic-50, Hangseng -371. STI closed -28 at 3247. Volume
was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 146 to 245 losers.
Trend of STI is at early stage of turning up but halted by today's fall.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.4, Genting unchanged, Oceanus unchanged,
GoldenAgri -2, YZJ -1.5, Noble -0.2, SingTel -1, CapitaCom unchanged,
Accrelist -0.1, Capitaland -5.
STI opened down and fell further before recovering to close at morning high
but still in the red. After lunch it slid down slightly and then held at
the level of about -30 points to close at -27.
Blue chips closed slightly weaker. The general market was down.
