Daily Summary 13 Jul 18

European bourses and Dow were up last night.  Dow closed +224 at 24925.

Trend of Dow is up.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +422, ShanghaiC -6, Hangseng +45.

STI closed +9 at 3262.  Volume was 1.7b shares.  Gainers were 210 to 146

losers.

Trend of STI is turning up slightly.

Top volumes were HPHTrust +0.5, Genting +1, GoldenAgri +1, KrisEnergy +0.4,

Ezion unchanged, AlliedTech -0.1, CapitaMallTrust +1, YingLi +0.6, SingTel

-2, Mapletree Log Tr unchanged.

STI opened up but slipped to flat after half an hour of trading. It then

recovered to close the morning session with a small gain of +7.  After

lunch it stayed practically flat at this level for the whole afternoon only

to close at +9.

Blue chips were firmer and so was the general market.

European bourses and Dow's future are still up at this moment.
