European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -14 at 25044.
Trend of Dow is starting to turn down. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +113, ShanghaiC +46, Hangseng +406.
STI closed -3 at 3290. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 202 to 155
losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up.
Top volumes were AlliedTech unchanged, YZJ +6, HPHTrust -0.5, GlobalDragon
unchanged, ThomsonMed +0.2, Cosco +4, Ezion +0.1, SingTel -2,
CapitaMallTrust +3, MapleTreeLogTr +1.
STI opened flat and turned up after half an hour of trading to close for
lunch with a gain of 10 points. After lunch it slipped down and at day low
at -3.
The general market was firmer. Blue chips closed mixed.
