European bourses closed up last night. Dow closed +221 at 28132. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher with Hangseng and Nikkei rallied by more than 500 points. Nikkei +598, ShanghaiC +52, Hangseng +694. STI closed +19 at 3214. Volume was 1.25b shares. Gainers were 242 to 191 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.7, GoldenAgri unchanged, YZJ +4, Artivision -0.1, CapitaMallTr -4, ThaiBev +1, AscendasReit -8, MapletreeComTr -2, SingTel unchanged, Genting -0.5.
STI opened marginally up but moved up quickly to hit day high in 10 minutes at 3223. It then slipped back to day low before 10am, at 3206. It finally closed for lunch 3210. After lunch it moved higher again and fluctuated before closing at 3214.
There were more gainers among blue chips than losers. The general market was slightly firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are all firmly up at this moment.
