European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -28 at 28239. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -70, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng -84. STI closed -5 at 3204. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 226 to 212 losers.
Trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were Addvalue -0.1, InterraResources unchanged, Broadway +0.3, RexIntl unchanged, Tee unchanged, MoyaAsia +0.7, GSSEnergy unchanged, GoldenAgri -0.5, SingTel -3, YZJ -1.
STI opened marginally down, turned up to hit morning high at 3207 in half an hour. It then fell to day low by 10am at 3195 before recovery to close for lunch at 3202. After lunch STI staged a slow recovery to hit day high at 3211 just before closing. It finally closed at 3204.
Blue chips were firmer while the general market was mixed.
European bourses are mixed while Dow's future is slightly up at this moment.
