Dow and European bourses closed up on Friday. Dow's trend is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -181, ShanghaiC +35, Hangseng +94. STI closed flat at 3227. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 263 to 181 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were MermaidMaritime +3.6, Goldenagri unchanged, LionGold unchanged, AusGroup +0.3, DynaMac +0.8, TriTech 0.1, ThomsonMedical -0.1, GSSEnergy +0.8, RexIntl +0.5, Broadway -0.2.
STI opened marginal up. It then moved up slightly and was at day high just before closing for lunch at 3232. It then slipped to close for lunch at 3224. After lunch STI fell and hit day low at 3214 quickly before climbing back and closed at 3227.
Blue chips closed mixed while the general market was firmer.
European bourses are down at this moment but Dow's future is up.
