Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +6 at 17408. Trend of Dow is sideways but with an upward bias. Dow' future at the moment is +10. European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses were mixed and closed relatively flat. Nikkei -78, ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng -28. STI +21 at 3113. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 211 to 255 losers.

Top volumes were Stratech -0.6, Mercator +0.3, IHC unchanged, Noble -1, Ezra -0.1, ChineseGlobal unchanged, KLW unchanged, SingTel +8, Genting +1, ChinaSports +0.2.

Trend of STI is levelling and the fall is starting to stabilise.

STI opened flat but shot up in early trading to stay up for the rest of the session. It closed near day high. Blue chips saw more gainers than losers. Overall market was mixed.

Europe and Dow's future are positive at the moment.

European bourses fell sharply last night. Dow also suffered early losses but managed to recover to close flat. Dow's trend is sideways at this point in time. Dow's future is now +32. European boureses opened firmly up.

Asian bourses recovered from yesterday's losses. Nikkei +203, ShanghaiC +68, Hangseng +103. STI closed +40 at 3102. Gainers were 269 to 207 losers. Volume was 1.6b shares.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were Stratech -0.5, Noble -0.5, Mercator +1.6, IHC unchanged, Genting -2, Yuuzoo +1.3, Adventus unchanged, Ezra +0.1, SingTel +14, Equation +0.2.

STI opened slightly up but gained strength through the days to close at day high in line with regional markets. There were more gainers than losers among the blue chips. The general market was also firmer.

European bourses and Dow's future are up at the moment.

Europe and Dow were firmly down last night. Dow closed -212 at 17403. Trend of Dow was starting to look up the day before but weakening again. Dow's future is now -168. European bourses opened sharply down.

Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -328, ShanghaiC -41, Hangseng -582. STI closed -93 at 3060. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 118 to 437 losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were Noble -6.5, Stratech -0.9, Artivision +0.1, ChinaSports -0.3, GoldenAgri -1.5, SingTel -10, IHC +0.5, ChineseGlobal +0.3, GlobalLogistic -6, Ezra -0.5.

STI opened down and fell further as regional bourses were also down sharply. It closed at day low. Blue chips were mostly in the red with banks sold down sharply. The general market was down with gainer loser ratio 1:4.

Europe and Dow are looking set for further slides tonight.

Europe and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +242 at 17615. Short term downtrend of Dow has reversed. Dow's future is now -54. Europe opened down.

Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -88, shangahiC +6, Hangseng -23. STI closed -42 at 3153. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 166 to 317 losers.

Trend of STI is slipping down.

STI opened positive after last night's gain in Dow but started to fall after half an hour of trading. It continued its fall to close near day low. Blue chips were weaker and they was big selling of bank stocks. The general market was also weaker with gainer loser ratio at 1:2.
