Europe were mixed last night while Dow
+21 at 16512. Trend of Dow is still down. Dow's future is now -3.
Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+69, ShanghaiC +3, Hangseng +130. STI closed +3 at 3265. Volume
was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 221 to 225 losers.
Trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were CCM +0.1, HanKore +0.2,
CapitaMallAsia unchanged, Memstar unchanged, Artivision +0.4, Teledata
-0.1, QTVascular +2, RHPetrogas+8.5, GoldenAgri -0.5, Noble -1.
Market opened flat and traded on a narrow
band of 8 pts. Volume was a low 1.5b shares. Blue chips were mixed.
Penny and speculatives fared better. Today's big gainers are RH PetroGas
+8.5 and transport stocks, SMRT +14.5, SBS Transit 7.5 and ConfortDelgro
+7.
Europe and Dow are looking weak at the
moment.
