Daily Summary 21 May 14
Europe and Dow were down last night. Dow -138 at 16374. Dow's trend is down. Dow's future is now +20. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -33, ShanghaiC +17, Hangseng +2. STI closed -4 at 3262. Volume was 1.33b shares. Gainers were 210 to 219 losers.
Trend of STI is still sideways.
Top volumes were HanKore -0.2, Amplefield unchanged, KLW -0.3, Gallant +2, RHPetroGas -6, LCDGlobal +0.9, ChinaFibretech +0.2, JES +0.3, Noble -0.5, RexIntl +1.
Market opened marginally down and stayed that way through the day. Volume was a low of 1.3b shares. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives were slightly weaker.
Europe is looking weak now but Dow's future is a bit firm.
