Europe were mixed on Friday while dow
-46 at 16513. Dow trend is looking toppish and slipping down. Dow's
future is now -8. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
- 28, ShanghaiC +1, Hangseng -284. STI closed 14 at 3239. Volume
was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 174 to 277 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were AmplefieldR unchanged,
Cacola +0.4, KhaKore -0.2, Memstar unchanged, APAC -1.8, KLW unchanged,
Charisma -0.1, GPHotels unchanged, Teledata unchanged, Armarda unchanged.
Market opened up but fell after the
first hour. It fell further in the last hour of trading to closed at day
low. Blue chips were mostly lower. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Volume was a low of 1.7b shares. Looks like it is a sell in May and
go away effect.
Europe and Dow are slightly weak at
the moment.
