Europe were down last night. Dow opened
down but managed to crawl back to close -3 at 17612. Uptrend of Dow is
flattening. Dow's future is now +42. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+196, ShanghaiC -8, Hangseng +82. STI closed +22 at 3306. Volume
was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 243 to 211 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were GoldenAgri -3, IHC
-0.5, SIIC +0.6, OLS +0.1, UnitedEnvtech +9.5, Sincap +0.1, Genting +2,
Adventus +0.1, SingTel +5, HealthwayMed unchanged.
Market opened slightly up but gained
strength through the session. It closed near day high. Blue chips were
firmer with banks making strong gains. Penny and speculatives were
steady.
Europe and Dow are looking steady at
this moment.
