European bourses were mixed last night
while Dow was closed for Thanksgiving. Dow's trend is slightly up. Dow's
future is now -17. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+211, ShanghaiC +52, Hangseng -17. STI closed +15 at 3356. Volume
was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 202 to 238 losers.
Trend of STI turning back up again.
Top volumes were APAC +0.4, IHC unchanged,
Memstar +0.1, GoldenAgri -0.5, Ezion -8, ThaiBev unchanged, PacificAndes
-0.3, Charisma unchanged, Genting unchanged, Mirach -0.6.
Market opened flat but gained strength
through to close near day high. Blue chips were mostly higher, likely due
to window dressing. Penny and speculatives were slightly weaker.
Europe and Dow are not looking good
at the moment.
