Dow and Europe were slightly up last
night. Dow was +40 at 17688. Dow's trend is inching back up. Dow's
future at the moment is +40. Europe opened flat.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-55, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng -156. STI closed +20 at 3333. Volume
was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 251 to 198 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up again.
Top volumes were Charisma +0.1, Genting
+1.5, IHC unchanged, Vallianz +0.3, JES +0.2, SIIC +0.1, Mirach +0.1, CitySpringTrust
+3, Memstar unchanged, Sincap unchanged.
Market opened up and stayed positive
but within a small range. Blue chips were mostly positive. Penny
and speculatives were mixed. Trading volume is still very low with
little retail participation.
Europe has started to turn a bit negative
while Dow's future is slightly up.
