Dow and Europe closed up last night.
Dow +101 at 17485. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future is
now -11. Europe opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mixed and relatively
flat. Nikkei -145, ShanghaiC +7, Hangseng -46. STI closed +5
at 3292. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 196 to 259 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were IHC +0.5, OLS unchanged,
CedarStrategic unchanged, JES +0.2, Noble +0.5, Digiland unchanged, Vallianz
-0.3, APAC -0.3, Elektromotive unchanged, NextGen +0.1.
STI opened up and stayed up most part
of the session. Blue chips were mixed. Though the index closed positive,
there were more losers than gainers. Penny and speculatives were
more reds than greens. Volume slid down to below 2b again.
Europe and Dow's future are a bit weak
at the moment.
