Dow and Europe were down on Friday.
Dow closed -171 at 17737. Dow's trend is levelling. Dow's future
is now +75. Europe opened very firm.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+31, ShanghaiC -54, Hangseng +107. STI +4 at 3342. Volume was
1.2b shares. Gainers were 170 to 266 losers.
Trend of STI is also flattening.
Top volumes were IHC unchanged, Metal
Component -0.1, ChinaEnv +1.5, GoldenAgri unchanged, PacificAndes +0.1,
OLS unchanged, SIIC +0.1, Annica unchanged, GlobalLogistic +1, ResourcesPrima
-1.
Market opened marginally down and traded
in a small band for the whole day. It closed slightly positive. Blue chips
were mixed. Penny and speculatives were generally weaker.
Dow's future and Europe are very firm
at the moment.
