Dow and Europe were all down. Dow
closed -291 at 17387. Dow's trend is going down. No Dow's future
data at the moment. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were steady and closed
mixed. Nikkei +27, ShanghaiC -46, Hangseng +55. STI closed
+7 at 3419. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 252 to 183
losers.
Trend of STI is still up but flattening.
Top volumes were AdvanceSCT unchanged,
Memstar +0.1, IHC unchanged, SIIC +0.2, GoldenAgri -0.5, Tritech +1.3,
PacificAndes unchanged, Armarda +0.1, HPHTrust +0.5, Noble +2.5.
Market opened down but moved up quickly
to a high of 3427. It then slipped down and was flat in the afternoon.
It managed to close +7 after matching. Blue chips were mostly higher. Penny
and speculatives were also firmer.
Europe are positive at the moment.
