European bourses were mixed last night.
Dow closed +225 AT 17417. Dow's short term downtrend is stopped with
the 225 pt gain. Dow's future is now -62. European bourses
are slightly up at the moment.
Asian bourses were mixed but steady.
Nikkei +68, ShanghaiC -51, Hangseng -89. STI closed -28 at
3391. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 236 to 243 losers.
Trend of STI is up but flattening.
Top volumes were PacificAndes +0.6,
IC unchanged, GoldenAgri -1, TigerAir +0.5, Genting +0.5, HPHTrust -1,
PNEMicron +0.4, Noble +1, SingTel +1, SIIC +0.2.
Market opened slightly up and stayed
slightly positive for the whole session until the last hour. It was sold
down to close at day low, -28 pts. Blue chips were mixed but banks seen
some profit taking and were in the red. Penny and speculatives were slightly
weaker.
Europe is looking steady at the moment
while Dow's future is a bit down.
