Dow and Europe were sharply down last
night. Dow -331 at 17502. Dow's trend is down. Dow's future
is now -25. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-526, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng -236. STI -45 at 3283. Volumes
were 1.5b shares. Gainers wer 143 to 300 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Artivision +1.5, IHC
-0.5, Noble -0.5, Addvalue +0.7, Memstar -0.1, GoldenAgri +1, APAC unchanged,
Midas +2.5, Genting 1.03.
Market opened up for a short while and
fell to trade at a lower level for the whole day. It closed slightly off
its low. Blue chips continued to be sold down. Penny and speculatives
were also mostly down.
Dow's future and Europe are now negative.
