Europe and Dow were firmly up last night. Dow closed +228.  Dow's trend is turning up.  Dow's future is now +5.  Europe opened mixed.

Asian bourses were mostly up.  Nikkei +191, ShanghaiC +54, Hangseng -48.  STI closed -6 at 3370.  Volume was 1.5b shares.  Gainers were 180 to 311 losers.

Trend of STI is flat at the moment.

Top volumes were Ellipsiz +0.5, Noble -3, MoyaAsia +0.2, IHC unchanged, GoldenAgri -0.5, SinoConstruction +1.1, ThaiBev +1, Metech unchanged, HPHTrust +1, DarcoWater -0.1.

STI was up on opening but weaken slightly and stayed positive till after lunch. It then slipped to negative by mid afternoon to close near day low at 3370. Blue chips were mostly down and so was the general market.

Europe is starting to slip to negative while Dow's future is marginally up.
