European bourses were mixed but Dow
was -128 closing at 17849. Dow's trend is still on the rebound. Dow's
future is at the moment +15. Europe opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+107, ShanghaiC +74, Hangseng +219. STI -8 at 3362. Volume
was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 168 to 311 losers.
Trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were IHC unchanged, Noble
-3.5, SinoConstruction -0.2, SIIC +0.6, HPHTrust -1, ThaiBev -1.5, SingTel
-4, Ellipsiz -0.3, APAC +0.2, Genting -0.5.
STI opened slightly down and stayed
flat for most part of the day before slipping down in late afternoon. It
closed near day low -8 pts. Blue chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives
were weaker.
Europe and Dow's future are relatively
flat at the moment.
