European bourses were mixed but more
on the upside yesterday. Dow closed -105 at 18011. Dow's trend is
starting to weaken. Dow's future is now +7. Europe opened flat with
some slightly down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+33, ShanghaiC -29 and Hangseng +2. STI closed +4 at 3418.
Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 254 to 173 losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up.
Top volumes were SIIC +1.2, IHC +0.5,
MoyaAsia unchanged, PacificAndes -0.2, Noble +0.5, DarcoWater +0.2, NOL
+6.5, Equation unchanged, GoldenAgri +0.5, SingTel +3.
STI opened slightly down, stayed down
for a couple of hours before moving to positive and stayed slightly up
for the rest of the session. Blue chips were generally firmer. Penny
stocks and speculatives too were seeing more gainers than losers.
Europe and Dow's future are flat at
the moment with Europe slightly on the down side.
